We were certain that our hopes for even just one snow this year weren’t happening.  Sunday evening changed all of that!  Nathan and Brianna were thrilled. Sunday night was the best time for play, as everything was too  frozen and packed the next morning.  Unfortunately, the neighborhood Bradford Pear trees were met with a great deal of destruction.  We had three days of rain prior to the snow, and they just couldn’t handle it.  Neither could the canopy over our deck.  :(  The metal poles even bent over from the weight of the fabric.

We had things beginning to bloom, so they will hopefully recover.  But this snowfall was a wonderful and unexpected treat here in SC.

I actually thought about you on that day with the news of the snow and wondered if the event would bring you to your blog.

    I miss you Tina.

I glad you and the kids got the snow and were able to have some “childish” fun in it together :)

Kent, you somehow know me too well! I did come out of the woodwork. I’m getting more of an urge to blog again. I’ve tried to force it over the last few months but that hasn’t worked out very well.

Sunday, we got lots and lots and lots of rain over here but no white stuff. We did have a two hour school delay on Monday so that was a welcome treat.

We got snow the other two times so we haven’t missed out and my grandchildren were even able to build a snowman the first snow fall.

I’m glad you’re back, Tina. I’ve missed you
